Why it matters
Many roofing-led companies in these metros advertise storm-damage and insurance-claim work, so siding can arrive bundled with a roof repair. The siding scope, materials and warranty deserve the same scrutiny as the roof. Licensing differs by state and city, and in most of these metros a buyer cannot lean on a siding-license check to sort bidders.
What this number can’t tell you
- Homepage emphasis is how a company presents itself, not its revenue mix or the quality of its siding work.
- The candidate lists for Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Omaha and St. Louis came from market-wide searches and directory listings; Kansas City’s came from an edition list, license files and later searches, so the samples differ. Small differences between metros are not meaningful at these sample sizes.
- Lead-generation template sites, dead domains and companies with no siding installation on their own site are excluded in every metro.
What to do with it
- Ask a roofing-led bidder who installs the siding: its own crew or a subcontractor.
- Get the siding scope priced separately from any roof or insurance work.
- Ask for the workmanship-warranty term on the siding, in writing.
