Who licenses siding work in Iowa
Omaha: Nebraska requires contractor registration. Every contractor doing business in Nebraska must register with the state Department of Labor, which publishes a free search of registered contractors. The department says registration “does not ensure quality of work or protect against fraud.” We searched each company by name on October 13, 2026 and recorded the match on its record. City of Omaha contractor licensing was not checked for this edition: the city’s licensing page refused automated requests.

Des Moines: Iowa requires contractor registration, not a siding license. Iowa law requires individual and business construction contractors to register with the Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing (DIAL) if they earn at least $2,000 a year from construction (observed October 13, 2026). Registration is not a skills license. These lightweight records do not include a registration check, and city contractor licensing was not checked for this edition.
